The business employs over 1500 people across multiple sites and have a manufacturing heritage of over 150 years.This is a genuinely hands-on engineering position where you ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on machine availability, reliability and production performance. About the roleAs a Maintenance Engineer, you ll be responsible for keeping a busy manufacturing site running safely, efficiently and reliably.Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults across production machinery.Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime.Completing effective fault finding and root-cause analysis.Supporting continuous improvement projects to improve machine reliability and efficiency.Supporting machinery upgrades, installations and improvements. About youWe re looking for a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer or Maintenance Technician with experience working within a manufacturing environment.You ll ideally have: Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding ability.Experience maintaining production machinery.A recognised engineering ..... full job details .....
