Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer £50,000 base (£54,000 after 4-month probation), Burnley, Lancashire, PANAMA DAYS and NIGHTS (6 6) 42 average hours a week.Overtime available at X1.65, holiday equivalent to 25 shifts off, pension, healthcare.The OpportunityWe are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of the leading manufacturers in the UK of fresh juice, flavoured drinks and smoothies. That supply to convenience stores, coffee shops and all major retailers across the country. You ll be implemented into a team of 10 Engineers in total. Conducting PPMs and reactive maintenance across all machinery on three production lines. The site is very fast paced, depending on demand just on smoothies alone, they produce 1.7million units a week. Production is 24/7.The RoleAs a maintenance engineer, you ll work with a range of machinery including: Sterilisers, pasteurisers, conveyors and labelling machinesThermoforming machines, blow moulders, sealers, cappers and boxing machines Your focus will be 70% reactive and 30% PPM, using a tablet system for job tracking. A new CMMS is currently being implemented. The role places a strong emphasis on maintenance and repair. You ll need to be working with pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, chains, sensors, and control panels etc. Fault finding via PLC or any welding experience is beneficial but not essential.The Person We re Looking ForTo succeed in this role as a maintenance engineer, you ll need: A strong background in maintenance within FMCG ..... full job details .....
