Maintenance Assistant - North London, £40,000-£50,000 GPA

We are looking for a capable, proactive Maintenance Assistant to support the Property Manager at a beautiful heritage-listed private estate in Totteridge, North London. This is a hands-on role for a true jack-of-all-trades, someone who spots what needs doing and gets on with it, and who is equally comfortable picking up a paintbrush or jumping in a car to drive the family.Working alongside an established management couple of eight years, you will be the person who keeps the day-to-day practical side of the property running smoothly. The family have young children and value a discreet, well-presented presence in their home.Key Responsibilities• General property maintenance: carpentry, minor repairs, painting• Outdoor furniture care: jet washing, oiling and seasonal upkeep• Vehicles: cleaning, maintenance and MOTs• Occasionally assisting with driving duties• Equipment maintenance: bikes, golf cart, sports equipment• Shopping, errands and logistics• Dog walking and vet / grooming appointments• Event setup and support• Assisting the groundsman when neededThe Ideal Candidate• Strong practical background - carpentry experience advantageous• Good awareness of household systems (plumbing, electrics, A/V) - not required to be an expert, but observant and proactive• Clean, full UK driving licence - confident driving principal and family• Well-presented and comfortable engaging directly with the principal• Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a ''get it done'' attitude• Previous ..... full job details .....
