Maintenance Assistant

We''re working with a well-established company in the London area, they''re currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who''s hands-on, dependable, and happy to support with a variety of day-to-day maintenance tasks

Salary & Benefits

- -13.75 per hour

- Weekly pay

- Monday to Friday schedule (9am-5pm)

- Great working environment

Duties of a Maintenance Assistant:

• Apply, replace and finish mastic/silicone in kitchens and showers
• Carry out minor repairs including shelving and furniture fixes
• Support with clearing and organising stock/storage areas
• Repair/adjust door hinges and basic door hardware
• Complete basic reactive maintenance as issues arise
• Perform fire alarm testing and emergency lighting checks
• Support with routine/preventative maintenance tasks as required

Skills/Requirements required for a Maintenance Assistant:

• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role (essential)
• Good attention to detail and pride in quality of work
• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
• Basic, practical knowledge across general building maintenance (e.g., minor repairs, fittings, sealants)
