Location: Redhill, RH1 5NB Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum Shift Pattern: Hybrid Evening Mon-Thurs (40h/week) - 3 breaks 15/30/15 Please note due to the office location access to your own vehicle is required as the office is not readily accessible via public transport, free parking is provided on site. About the role: Reporting to the Saw Team Leader, the Saw Operator is responsible for the production of saw cut parts by loading and unloading various saw machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records as appropriate and assisting in the maintenance of equipment. The operator will ensure continuity of production in the saw room, maintaining required specifications within agreed timeframes. About your day to day: Preparing and operating the circular, manual and auto band saws to perform manufacturing tasks Preparing and loading raw materials into the saw machines Completing raw material paperwork and checklists Inspecting and measuring finished products and comparing them with technical and quality requirements to ensure correct completion of the process together with de-burring, shuffling, and cleaning of finished parts as necessary and saw operations as required, respecting all advised schedules and timelines for production In consultation with the Production Manager and Saw Team Leader, ensuring all machines remain well stocked with continuity of production at all times Strictly adhering to all health and safety procedures Demonstrating a strong ..... full job details .....
