CNC Machinist

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist / Toolmaker to join a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing business. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a skilled toolroom team, producing high-quality tooling, fixtures, jigs, and precision-machined components that support a busy production environment.The RoleReporting to the Toolroom Supervisor, you will play a key role in manufacturing tooling, machine spares, and precision components to tight tolerances. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a variety of CNC machinery while ensuring quality, efficiency, and production targets are consistently achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming, setting, and operating CNC machine tools.Manufacturing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine spares.Supporting production machining requirements when required.Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications.Producing precision components to exact tolerances.Ensuring all quality standards and inspection requirements are met.Identifying and implementing process improvements to maximise efficiency and reduce waste.Maintaining machine performance and improving cycle times where possible.Supporting and mentoring apprentices within the workshop.Promoting a positive team-focused culture and safe working environment.Skills and Experience RequiredApprenticeship trained engineer (City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).Strong background in CNC machining within a ..... full job details .....
