Machine/Extrusion Operative
£12.70 - £15.84/hour Bonus
Major Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company that is continuing to expand and is now looking to bring in an Extrusion Operator to strengthen its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with manufacturing experience to join an established and growing team.
Role Description
Support the Lead Operator by maintaining production across extrusion lines
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures
Process raw materials, including de-bagging, while adhering to customer specifications
Remove finished products, palletise, and package accordingly
Manage and dispose of waste products correctly
Accurately record production data and contribute ideas to improve efficiency
Assist with machine deep cleaning and general maintenance tasks
Skills and Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience is highly desirable
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow processes and instructions
Committed to health and safety standards
Experience working towards KPIs in a production environment
Confident in logging and managing production data
Proactive, with a willingness to learn, improve, and develop skills
Rotating shifts
Week one Monday to Thursday 6am to 6pm days
Week two Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am nights
