Machine/Extrusion Operative

Major Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company that is continuing to expand and is now looking to bring in an Extrusion Operator to strengthen its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with manufacturing experience to join an established and growing team.

• Support the Lead Operator by maintaining production across extrusion lines

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures

• Process raw materials, including de-bagging, while adhering to customer specifications

• Remove finished products, palletise, and package accordingly

• Manage and dispose of waste products correctly

• Accurately record production data and contribute ideas to improve efficiency

• Assist with machine deep cleaning and general maintenance tasks

• Previous manufacturing experience is highly desirable

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow processes and instructions

• Committed to health and safety standards

• Experience working towards KPIs in a production environment

• Confident in logging and managing production data

• Proactive, with a willingness to learn, improve, and develop skills

Rotating shifts

Week one Monday to Thursday 6am to 6pm days

Week two Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am nights
