Machine Shop Shift Supervisor

38 hours per week

Apprenticeship in manufacturing or engineering / NVQ Level 3 and IOSH Certified

Minimum of 2 years supervisor experience running department

Previous experience in a similar industry within a manufacturing and or heavy engineering environment.

Permanent early shift so shift allowance of 6.5 hours per week

-36,658 per annum

The role is working to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity, optimizing efficiency and maintaining operational excellence.

• Must have experience in people management and experience of the manufacturing processes in the area of responsibility.
• Good general IT skills
• Good interpersonal skills, particularly team building and leadership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to compose clear and concise documentation
• Ability to achieve deadlines consistently
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Ability to work under own initiative
• High self-motivation and determination to succeed
• Good literacy and numeracy

You must be willing to work shifts and additional hours in order to complete your duties and flexible and responsive to the demands of the role.
