We''re recruiting Machine Operatives to join a busy and well-established based in Chesterfield (S44). This is an ongoing temporary position offering consistent Monday to Friday hours with an immediate start available.

The Role

As a Machine Operative, you''ll play an important part in the production process, ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

• Operating cable winding machinery safely and efficiently
• Feeding cable onto coils and drums
• Measuring and cutting cable to customer specifications
• Ensuring all orders are completed accurately
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience operating machinery or working within a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working with measurements and following detailed instructions
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work accurately with excellent attention to detail
• Keen to learn and work as part of a team

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
08:00am – 5:00pm

Pay

£12.80 per hour
