Machine Operative

Questech Recruitment-are looking for an experienced-Machine Operator-(with 360/Loading Shovel-experience) to join our client''s busy metal recycling operation.-

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in fast-paced industrial environments.

Location:-DN4
Shifts:-6am - 6pm 4 on 4 off
Salary:14.00ph

Temp to Perm opportunity-

Key Responsibilities

• Operate loading shovel and 360 grab machinery safely and efficiently
• Load, sort, move, and process scrap metal materials
• Feed processing equipment and maintain smooth yard operations
• Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance

Requirements

• Proven experience operating a loading shovel and 360 grab (licenses essential)
• Experience within metal recycling, waste management, quarrying, or similar industries is advantageous
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude
