About the Role
This Machine Operative position in Kingswinford suits someone with press brake experience seeking steady work. The full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, paying £12.80 to £13.50 hourly on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous Press Brake experience who is looking for a long-term position, working consistent Monday to Friday day shifts with the potential to become permanent.
The role:
- Setting and operating Press Brake machinery
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Folding and forming sheet metal components
- Selecting and changing tooling where required
- Measuring components using verniers and other measuring equipment
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production
- Ensuring components meet required tolerances and specifications
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Previous Press Brake operating experience is essential
- Press Brake setting experience is desirable
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Previous experience working with sheet metal
- Confident using measuring equipment
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and committed to full-time work
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
