Press Brake OperatorLocation: Kingswinford, West MidlandsSalary: 12.80 - 13.50 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pmJob Type: Temporary to PermanentPertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a busy manufacturing and engineering company based in Kingswinford.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous Press Brake experience who is looking for a long-term position, working consistent Monday to Friday day shifts with the potential to become permanent.The role:Setting and operating Press Brake machineryWorking from engineering drawings and specificationsFolding and forming sheet metal componentsSelecting and changing tooling where requiredMeasuring components using verniers and other measuring equipmentCarrying out quality checks throughout productionEnsuring components meet required tolerances and specificationsWorking to production targets and deadlinesMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentThe ideal candidate:Previous Press Brake operating experience is essentialPress Brake setting experience is desirableAble to read and understand engineering drawingsPrevious experience working with sheet metalConfident using measuring equipmentGood attention to detail and qualityReliable and committed to full-time workPrevious experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Benefits: 12.80 - 13.50 per hour, depending on experienceMonday to Friday, 6am - 2pmNo weekend workingTemporary to permanent ..... full job details .....
