Logistics Manager

We are looking for an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to take ownership of logistics on a large student accommodation project in Wembley. The site is highly constrained and logistically challenging, requiring strong control of deliveries, vehicle movements, material distribution, hoists, storage, waste and housekeeping. The successful candidate will need to be proactive, organised and capable of planning logistics around the construction programme, particularly through the busy fit-out stages. Key Responsibilities Manage and continually develop the site logistics plan in line with the construction programme. Manage all deliveries, booking systems, vehicle movements and traffic management. Coordinate unloading areas, storage, cranes, hoists and material distribution. Plan and manage vertical logistics, ensuring materials reach the correct floors and workfaces when required. Produce weekly logistics look-aheads and identify constraints before they affect the programme. Coordinate subcontractor delivery and logistics requirements. Manage logistics supervisors, traffic marshals, hoist drivers, labourers and waste teams. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, waste management and site organisation. Ensure safe pedestrian/vehicle segregation and compliance with site HandS procedures. Control material storage and minimise double handling and congestion.
