Job Title: Logistics and Purchasing Administrator Location: Haverhill, Suffolk Hourly rate: 15 Contract Type: Temp ongoing Hours: Monday - Friday Sector: Manufacturing An opportunity has arisen for a Temporary ongoing Logistics and Purchasing Administrator for our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk As the Logistics and Purchasing Administrator your duties will include: Issuing of dispatch notes, sales invoices, packing list and commercial invoices form and arrangement of other shipping documents such as certificates of origin, bill of lading as needed. Working with suppliers to purchase goods and services managing purchase from start to finish. Including booking into system and advising relevant personnel of arrival. Liaising with both internal team members and external customers and suppliers, by telephone and email. An ideal candidate for the Logistics and Purchasing Administrator will have: Experience of working within an Import/Export Logistics role, Shipping both domestic and International packages, ensuring all goods and materials are classified in accordance with UK trade tariff codes A proven knowledge of Customs Regulations Experience within a purchasing role, with responsibility for raising internal paperwork for approval for all purchase orders.
