About the Role

This role involves coordinating orders and customer service for a logistics operation in Uxbridge. As a Logistics Agent, you will manage inbound and outbound calls, process customer orders, refunds, and cylinder refill agreements. Daily tasks include placing delivery and collection orders on the system, serving retail customers over the counter, and reviewing load builds via capacity planner management. This temporary position offers a salary of £13.50 to £20.25 per hour, with overtime paid after 30 hours weekly. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 3pm, with a 15-minute unpaid break. Competitive Pay: Earn £13.50 per hour, overtime rates of £20.25 paid after 30 hours per week. Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Shifts: Monday - Friday 8.45am - 3pm (with 15 minutes unpaid break)

Responsibilities:

Place orders on system for delivery/collection.
Inbound/outbound phone calls for customer orders, queries, and general information.
Serve retail customers over the counter. Process orders, refunds/credits, and cylinder refill agreements.
Capacity planner management and reviews of load build.
Check telephone system for any voicemails and return calls.
Check site email box.
Raise hazard spots on H andamp; S system.
Follow faulty cylinder procedure when any faulty cylinders are received including labelling.
Review daily aborts, cancels, and fill returns.
