This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment and thrives on being the central point of coordination.The RoleReporting into the Transport Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the Transport Department. You''ll be responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, while maintaining excellent communication with customers, contractors, drivers, and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately capturing and inputting customer orders received via phone and emailLiaising with customers and resolving queries in a professional and timely mannerCoordinating stock movements between sites alongside the Transport Supervisor and ManagerBooking deliveries via web portals, phone, and email in conjunction with route planningDebriefing drivers and ensuring all paperwork is completed and filed correctlyManaging contractor bookings and supporting the administration of agency staffOverseeing pallet collection, returns, and associated administrationMaintaining organised order inboxes and accurate transport recordsSupporting the smooth day-to-day running of the transport officeAbout YouPrevious experience in a transport, ..... full job details .....
