Lodge Manager

Are you an experienced people manager with a background in front-of-house operations, facilities, hospitality, security or customer service?

We''re recruiting for a Lodge Manager to lead a busy, customer-facing operation within a prestigious organisation in Oxford. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring a safe, welcoming and professional environment while overseeing a team providing support around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate a team operating across a 24/7 service.
• Manage rotas, shift cover, annual leave and performance management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high front-of-house standards.
• Oversee visitor management, access control and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
• Support health & safety, fire safety and business continuity processes.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and operational resources.
• Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and operational procedures.

About You

You''ll have experience managing teams within environments such as:

• Facilities Management
• Security
• Hospitality
• Residential Services
• Front of House Operations
• Estates or Campus Services
• Customer Service Operations

You will be a confident leader with excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability and the confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Working Pattern

This role supports a service operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Typical shifts include:

• 07:00 - 15:00
• 15:00 - 23:00
• 07:00 - 19:00 (weekends)

Flexibility is required to support operational needs, events and emergency situations.
