As a Trade Services Specialist within the Loan Trading Documentation team, you will be responsible for supporting secondary trade closings. The Wholesale Loan Middle Office, part of Wholesale Lending Services, primarily supports the European Credit Trading and Syndicated Leverage Finance businesses within the Corporate and Investment Bank.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee Analysts and Junior Associates

Possess sufficient knowledge of LMA Trading to verify work and execute trading documentation for JPMorgan Chase

Collaborate with front office traders, sales teams, clients, counsel, and operations to settle secondary par loan trades

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and counterparts

Manage a trade portfolio across various lines of business, maintaining a clean aging profile

Review Loan Market Association (LMA) standard documents and other legal documents including trade confirms, assignment agreements, proceeds letters, participation agreements, cash collateral agreements, and multilateral agreements

Review credit agreements, focusing on assignability language

Identify and escalate issues to relevant teams and management when necessary

Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports to track open items and assess risk

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Extensive knowledge of syndicated loans

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented

Experience with loan-based software (LoanIQ, ClearPar)

Deep understanding of LMA standard documentation and terms

Knowledge of the trade lifecycle and support experience in trading business
