Wholesale Loan Middle Office is a part of Wholesale Lending Services that primarily supports the European Credit Trading, and Syndicated Leverage Finance businesses within the Corporate and Investment BankJob responsibilitiesOversees Analysts and Junior AssociatesHas sufficient knowledge of LMA Trading, to second-check work and execute trading documentation on behalf of JPMorgan ChaseWorks with front office traders and sales coverage, clients, counsel and operations to settle secondary par loan tradesEstablishes and maintains strong working relationships with clients/counterpartsManages a trade portfolio across various lines of business while maintaining a clean aging profileReviews Loan Market Association (LMA) standard documents and other legal documents including trade confirms, assignment agreements, proceeds letters, participation agreements, cash collateral agreements, and multilateral agreementsReviews credit agreements, specifically assignability languageIdentifies and escalates issues to the front office trading assistants/traders/salespeople, in-house legal counsel and management, when necessaryPrepares daily/weekly MIS reporting to track the status of open items and measure riskRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExtensive knowledge with syndicated loansProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to take initiative and self-motivate as well as work as part of a teamExtensive knowledge of loan-based software (LoanIQ, ClearPar)Extensive experience with LMA standard documentation, knowledge of the LMA Standard Terms and ConditionsExtensive knowledge of the trade lifecycle and/or experience supporting a trading businessAbout UsJ.P.
