Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced NVQ Level 4 Lift Technician to join an established independent lift company covering London. This role provides advanced technical support across service operations, including complex fault-finding, technical repairs, and support for field engineers. The successful candidate will work independently while ensuring lift equipment remains safe, reliable and compliant.

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Provide technical support to service and repair engineers.
• Attend difficult breakdowns and recurring faults requiring specialist expertise.
• Carry out repairs, adjustments and component replacements.
• Test equipment following repairs and confirm safe return to service.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings and manufacturers'' documentation.
• Identify defective components and provide accurate repair/replacement recommendations.
• Complete job sheets, technical reports and customer documentation.
• Liaise professionally with customers, site contacts and engineering teams.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant lift regulations, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
• Travel throughout London and surrounding areas.

• Proven experience as a Lift Technician or Senior Lift Engineer.
• NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability.
• Experience resolving complex or recurring lift faults.
• Knowledge of passenger and goods lifts from multiple manufacturers.
• Confident interpreting wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of lift regulations and health & safety.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
• Professional communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Full UK driving licence.
