Lift Safety Inspector

Job Title: Lift Safety Inspector Location: Flexible - able to travel within our operating region Salary: £48,000 per annum subject to experience Job type: Permanent, Full Time. 37 hours per week Closing Date: 27th October 2026. We have an opportunity to join the Property Services team as a Lifts Safety Inspector. You''ll be responsible for carrying out surveys and safety inspections of passenger, personal lifts and for providing technical advice on lift replacement, remedial faults and making improvements. Within the service the team provide, you will be ensuring; That the quality of services provided to all customers is always legislatively compliant and meets the requirements set out by governing bodies and wider good industry practice. The delivery of servicing, works and maintenance activity meets all required standards of performance, including time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction. That all certification and documentation is produced in accordance with agreed procedures. Assistance is provided to complete regular audit and reconciliation of data for Aster''s systems. You will be carrying out periodic equipment and asset inspections, as well as carrying out unplanned inspections following alterations or repair to ensure that all relevant findings are documented and action is taken where required.
