We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a well-established and inclusive school in Winslow. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs, helping them to succeed both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Provide focused support to students with ASC in classroom, group, and one-to-one settings

  
  



• 
  

  Create and maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

  
  



• 
  

  Collaborate with teaching and support staff to implement individualised learning strategies and interventions

  
  



• 
  

  Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to review meetings and support plans

  
  



• 
  

  Encourage the development of students'' social and emotional skills through engaging activities

  
  



• 
  

  Assist with managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in a calm and supportive way

  
  

Ideal Candidate

• 
  

  Experience supporting children or young people with ASC (highly desirable)

  
  



• 
  

  Patient, empathetic, and resilient, especially when working with students who present behavioural challenges

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
