A welcoming and well-established pre-school in Northampton is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join its team from September 2026. Working within a supportive and child-centred setting, you will play an important role in helping children learn through play, develop key social skills, and build the confidence they need for future success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of stimulating activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment for all children
• Observe, assess, and record children''s progress and achievements
• Encourage children''s communication, creativity, independence, and emotional wellbeing
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor learning activities
• Promote safeguarding and maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
• Contribute to the overall development and success of the pre-school setting

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare
• Has previous experience working within an early years or pre-school environment
• Demonstrates a sound understanding of the EYFS framework
• Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting young children''s development
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills
• Can create positive relationships with children and their families
• Is reliable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a thriving setting
