This is an opportunity for a Legal Secretary with experience in Property Litigation or other areas of Litigation. An excellent role for someone who is keen to join a firm recognised as one of the go-to names for high-value and technically challenging disputes.You will handle a varied caseload, reporting to the Senior Equity Partners and two associates. Becoming vital part of the team, ensuring the smooth running of the department and seeing that fee earners are fully supported with their client work and administrative tasks.Key Responsibilities
Serve as the professional first point of contact for clients and third parties; handle correspondence and calls.Organise schedules, meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.Manage deadlines, prepare reports, legal documents, court bundles, and maintain filing systems.Open new client files, handle engagement documentation and coordinate with Compliance such as onboarding.Prepare bills, track costs, assist with expenses and related financial tasks.Provide administrative support, cover for colleagues, assist with marketing and business initiatives.Joining a collaborative team to help support the delivery of integrated services, support business growth and enhancing team capability to drive operational excellence.The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with a team of highly regarded solicitors, build relationships client base on behalf of fee earners and contribute to the continued success of the team.Requirements
Proven experience in a Property Litigation or a general Litigation department.Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.Proficient in Microsoft Word and the wider Microsoft Office suite.Experience with document management systems (iManage – FileSite) and billing software (Aderant Legal Software).Strong client service skills with a professional, positive attitude.Excellent prioritisation, problem-solving and initiative skills.4 days a week in office.This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious, well-respected firm and become a valued member of a high-performing Property Litigation team.
