Legal Secretary - Commercial Property (Conveyancing Support)
Salary: -25k30k (DOE)
Location: Bradford
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Are you an organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary. Our client is looking for a professional and proactive individual to support their conveyancing team in delivering high-quality legal services. Key Responsibilities of the Legal Secretary:
* Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents including contracts, leases, and property transfer forms.
* File Management: Organise and maintain both physical and digital files related to commercial property transactions.
* Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders.
* Diary Management: Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for fee earners.
* SDLT Submissions: Assist with the submission of Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms to HMRC.
* Land Registry Applications: Support the preparation and submission of applications for land registration.
* General Administrative Support: Provide typing, filing, photocopying, and other administrative assistance to the legal team.
Key Requirements of the Legal Secretary:
* Previous experience in a legal secretary role is desirable but not essential (ideally within commercial property or conveyancing).
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional and client-focused approach.
* Familiarity with SDLT and Land Registry processes is highly desirable.
