Legal Cashier Nottingham Salary £27,000 - £35,000 Hybrid WorkingAre you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to join a growing, supportive law firm where you can build a long-term career in the heart of Nottingham?We are delighted to be supporting in the search for a Legal Cashier to join its friendly and collaborative Finance team.The RoleAs Legal Cashier, you will play a vital role in maintaining the firm s financial integrity, safeguarding client money and ensuring all transactions are handled accurately and in line with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.Your responsibilities will include:Processing client account transactions in line with SAR requirements.Completing daily compliance checks and investigating any exceptions.Maintaining accurate client ledgers and completing reconciliations.Payment processingPayment instructions verification.Allocating incoming funds and resolving unallocated receipts promptly.Providing guidance to fee earners on the correct handling of client monies.Producing reports, maintaining records and supporting month-end processes.Assisting with audits, procedure updates and Finance team projects.Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.About YouYou will ideally have:Previous Legal Cashier or legal accounts experience within a law firm Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy and organisational skills.The ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a busy environment.Strong communication skills and confidence ..... full job details .....
