The role reports into an experienced Legal Cashier Manager and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into a culture driven and social finance team.What You''ll Be DoingProcessing and reconciling office and client bank accounts in accordance with SRA Accounts RulesPreparing and posting client receipts and electronic paymentsManaging credit card postings and performing reconciliationsProcessing supplier invoices and administering employee expense claimsSupporting disbursement activities, including counsel fees, Companies House filings, Land Registry submissions, and property searchesCalculating and applying client interestAssisting with working capital management, including write-offs, disbursement control, and credit note requestsContributing to the preparation of financial reports, including cost analysis and residual balance summariesSupporting external audit processes and preparation requirementsActing as a point of contact for finance-related queries from lawyers, partners, and internal stakeholdersProviding general support to the wider Finance team and Finance DirectorWhat you''ll need experience inA minimum of 3 years'' legal cashiering experience within a law firmStrong working knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules, including client and office accounts, as well as AML regulationsSolid understanding of VAT within a legal or professional ..... full job details .....
