Learning Support Specialist - Literacy and NumeracyLocation: North LondonSalary: 18-23 Per Hour ( Depending on your experience)Hours: Full-TimeContract Type:TempAbout the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Specialist - Literacy and Numeracy to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in developing their English, mathematics, literacy, and numeracy skills.The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions, provide individualised support, and help learners overcome barriers to learning. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about improving learner outcomes and enabling students to gain the confidence and skills needed for further education, employment, and independent living.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small group support in English, maths, literacy, and numeracy.Deliver targeted interventions to improve reading, writing, spelling, communication, and mathematical understanding.Support learners to develop functional skills and everyday numeracy.Adapt learning materials and teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs.Support learners with a range of SEND needs, including learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.Assist learners in developing confidence, independence, and study skills.Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes ..... full job details .....
