Learning Support Mentor Location: CambridgeSalary: CompetitiveContract: Full Time, PermanentStart Date: SeptemberWe are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Mentor on behalf of a well-established Further Education College in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and supportive individual to join a dedicated Learning Support team, providing high-quality support to learners studying within Construction and Motor Vehicle provision.This rewarding role will involve supporting students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, helping them to access their studies, develop independence, and achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work across a variety of learning environments, including practical workshops, specialist training facilities, classrooms, and, where required, off-site learning activities.Experience of, or a genuine interest in, Construction and/or Motor Vehicle environments would be highly beneficial.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality learning support to students with additional learning needs across Construction and Motor Vehicle workshops, classrooms, and other learning environments.Work collaboratively with teaching staff and curriculum teams to ensure students can fully access and engage with their programmes of study.Support learners with study skills, organisation, assistive technologies, communication, and the development of independent learning strategies.Promote confidence, resilience, ..... full job details .....
