Learning Support Assistants Liverpool Mersey View Learning Trust Secondary Schools The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Mersey View Learning Trust, to recruit Learning Support Assistants on a supply basis. This could include day to day cover, shorter term, longer term and even potential permanent opportunties. This is an excellent opportunity for flexible work within a supportive multi-academy trust, helping pupils achieve their full potential, throughout the academic year. The Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management Provide additional support for pupils with SEND, SEMH and/or additional learning needs where required Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environmentBuild strong working relationships with Teachers, Support staff, Pastoral teams, Parents and Carers What we are looing for: Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting Experience supporting pupils with SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH) is desirable but not essential Newly qualified or aspiring Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants are encouraged to apply Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essentialHave a passion for supporting young people and have excellent and adaptable communication skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through ..... full job details .....
