Learning Support Assistant - Specialist Provisions Location: Ormskirk and surrounding areasPay: £109.85 per dayHours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pmContract: Full-time, term-time onlyStart Date: Immediate starts available About the Role We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work within specialist educational provisions across Ormskirk and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children and young people with SEND, SEMH, behavioural, communication or complex additional needs. You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide tailored support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs. Support pupils with their learning, communication, emotional wellbeing and social development. Assist pupils with managing emotions, behaviour and challenging situations. Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent and supportive role model. Support pupils to develop confidence, independence and resilience. Follow individual learning, support and behaviour plans. Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks.
