Are you a compassionate and energetic Learning Support Assistant eager to support students who benefit from a little extra help£ A fantastic secondary school in Slough is looking for a dedicated LSA to join their inclusive and forward-thinking team. This role isnandrsquo;t just a jobandmdash;itandrsquo;s an opportunity to be a guiding influence, a confidence builder, and occasionally the unofficial pep-talk provider for students as they navigate their educational journey.
About the Role:
- Ensure a safe and secure environment throughout the school and during extracurricular activities.
- Adhere to school policies as detailed in official documentation and as directed by the Headteacher.
- Represent the school positively within the local community.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information encountered during the course of duties.
- Comply fully with the schoolandrsquo;s Equal Opportunities policy.
- Follow the schoolandrsquo;s Health and Safety policy rigorously and respond appropriately to any accidents or incidents.
The ideal candidate will:
- Previous experience as Support Staff or in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.
- Committed to bringing creativity and enthusiasm into the classroom environment.
- Skilled at challenging, motivating, and inspiring young learners.
- Demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting equality for all students.
- Patient, resilient, and able to maintain a good sense of humour.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to the changing needs and demands of the school.
- Caring and nurturing, with a strong focus on supporting student well-being.
