We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a warm and supportive primary school with a close-knit community. This dynamic role involves working across all year groups, providing targeted support to small groups of pupils and offering occasional 1:1 assistance for children with diverse additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
About the Role:
- Provide engaging and inclusive learning support tailored to pupilsandrsquo; individual needs
- Support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
- Offer focused 1:1 and small group support for children with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop confidence and achieve their potential
- Collaborate effectively with class teachers and the wider school team
- Take an active role in school life, including participation in events, activities, and enrichment opportunities
The ideal candidate will:
- Experience working in a school environment
- A CACHE Level 2 qualification is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A caring and encouraging approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children''s learning
- Flexibility and responsiveness to meet the needs of individual pupils
