About the Role:
- Support students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in their day-to-day learning
- Encourage student engagement and help build key life and academic skills
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Work closely with teachers and staff to monitor progress and personalise learning support
The ideal candidate will:
- A calm, empathetic, and supportive approach, with a strong commitment to helping students thrive
- A genuine passion for working with children who have additional needs
- Previous experience in education or supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) is advantageous
- Awareness of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) is beneficial, though not essential
- Confident working both collaboratively within a team and independently when required
