Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families, you will help create a supportive and inclusive educational environment tailored to the individual needs of each student.

This is a well-established SEN school catering to students aged 11 to 16 with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). With around 58 students on roll, the school offers a warm, community-focused atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
Support the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive learning environment that supports emotional and social development.
Record and monitor student progress, reporting observations to teaching staff.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver extracurricular and enrichment activities.
Person Specification
Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an educational or SEN setting, is desirable.
A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to supporting inclusive education.
