Learning Support Assistant - SEN, SEMH and Outreach

Luma Education Recruitment is recruiting for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an established and supportive specialist school in Totnes, Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build valuable experience working with children and young people, particularly those interested in developing a career within SEN, SEND, SEMH, education, psychology, youth work or specialist support. The role is long-term, with potential for the right candidate to progress into a permanent position through a temp-to-perm arrangement. You will be part of an experienced school team, supporting young people with their learning, development, confidence and independence. The role also includes an outreach and community element, making it particularly varied and rewarding. Alongside supporting learning within the school, you may accompany young people on activities, days out, visits to local facilities or trips into the community, helping them develop practical skills and greater independence. The role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide positive, consistent and individualised support to young people with a range of additional needs.
