Learner Coach Blackwood About the Role Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers, build confidence and achieve their goals? We have an amazing opportunity for a Learner Coach to provide high-quality, structured support and guidance to learners throughout their journey on the JGW+ programme. You will play a key role in supporting learners wellbeing, personal development, engagement and progression, helping them achieve positive and sustained outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with young people, vulnerable learners, employability or youth services who is passionate about making a genuine difference. Key Responsibilities Provide ongoing pastoral care, wellbeing support and guidance to learners throughout their programme. Manage an allocated caseload effectively, monitoring progress, engagement, attendance and individual support needs. Conduct regular caseload reviews with your line manager and take appropriate action to address barriers to progression. Identify learners requiring additional personal, emotional or practical support and coordinate appropriate interventions. Act as a key point of contact for safeguarding concerns, ensuring issues are recorded and escalated appropriately in line with safeguarding and Prevent procedures. Build positive relationships with learners, creating a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages confidence and achievement.
