Secondary Learning Support Assistant - SEN Department - IlfordFull Time Term Time Only ASAP and September Starts AvailableUp to £120 per day Long Term Role (Temp to Perm)Long Term Futures are recruiting a dedicated and proactive Secondary Learning Support Assistant to join a secondary school in Ilford, working within the SEN department to support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in SEN support or a strong interest in working with students who require additional support to access the curriculum. You will play a key role in helping pupils achieve both academically and personally.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small-group support within the SEN departmentSupport students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficultiesAssist pupils in lessons and during intervention sessionsWork closely with teachers, SENCo and pastoral teamsHelp implement EHCP targets and support plansPromote engagement, independence and inclusionIdeal Candidate Will Have:Experience supporting students with SEN needs (desirable)Confidence working in a secondary school environmentA patient, proactive and adaptable approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsUnderstanding of safeguarding and inclusive practiceBackground in education, youth work or care (desirable)Location and Transport - Ilford, East LondonAccessible via Ilford Station (Elizabeth Line)Close to Gants Hill and Newbury Park (Central ..... full job details .....
