Job Title: Instructing Learning Support Mentor Catering Specialist Location: Cambridge (across multiple sites) Contract: Permanent Term Time Only (38 weeks) 37 hours per week Salary: £22,500 £23,500 (pro rata) About the Role: Our client is seeking a motivated and adaptable Instructing Learning Support Mentor (Catering Specialist) to support learners across our Supported Learning Directorate. The Instructing Learning Support Mentor (Catering Specialist) is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will deliver high-quality learning support, lead practical catering sessions, and provide cover for teaching staff. You will work across multiple campuses, supporting students to develop skills in real commercial environments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging learning support and provide cover for teaching and support staff Lead practical catering sessions (1:2 ratio) in commercial settings including kitchens, service areas, and plate wash Support learners through 1:1 and small group sessions, including catch-up and booster support Follow lesson plans and schemes of work to ensure continuity of learning Assess and provide feedback on student work in line with course requirements Support educational trips, including shopping for cooking ingredients Work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to a positive learning environment Promote safeguarding, equality, and high standards of professional conduct About You - Instructing Learning Support Mentor (Catering Specialist): ..... full job details .....
