The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential. Depending on the setting, you could be supporting pupils with: Autism / ASD ADHD SEMH and behavioural needs Speech and language difficulties Complex learning needs Moderate or severe learning difficulties Physical and sensory needs EHCPs and additional learning needs You may work on a 1:1 basis, within small groups or as part of a classroom support team, helping pupils academically, socially and emotionally.
