We are seeking an Inclusion & Wellbeing Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join secondary schools across Cardiff and nearby areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to assist students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them to achieve their potential in both academic and personal development.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs in a classroom setting

• Delivering 1:1 and small group wellbeing interventions

• Assisting teachers with behaviour management strategies and inclusive practices

• Encouraging positive engagement and supporting de-escalation where required

• Promoting resilience, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth among students

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with young people with additional needs, ideally in an education setting

• Knowledge of behaviour management and de-escalation strategies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners

• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
