Salary: £88.92 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive SEN school in Hailsham. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your experience and develop your career within a supportive educational environment.

You’ll be working across the classroom, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Your role will be to help every child feel included, supported, and ready to learn.

• Provide tailored classroom support to pupils with individual learning needs

• Encourage engagement and participation in class activities

• Use visual aids and simple communication strategies to aid understanding

• Foster positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Support pupils'' emotional and social development in a nurturing environment

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in education, care, or youth settings)

• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A willingness to learn and respond to varied student needs

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

• Competitive daily rates: £88.92 – £100
