Learning Support Assistant

ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Kidderminster on a full-time basis.Hours 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-FridayThe role: As a member of the support team at the School, you will play a vital part in the day-to-day care, learning, and wellbeing of pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and complex needs.You will work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver a broad, balanced, and individualised curriculum that supports pupils'' academic progress, communication development, emotional wellbeing, and physical needs.Your role will involve supporting pupils in the classroom, during therapy sessions, and throughout the wider school environment including personal care, mobility support, and access to sensory and vocational activities.You will contribute to creating a positive, safe, and stimulating environment that promotes independence, builds confidence, and celebrates every child s achievements, no matter how small.This is a rewarding and dynamic role that requires patience, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
