It is an exciting time for the Fashion Museum as we undertake a major project to open a new state-of-the-21-century museum, comprising galleries and learning spaces, and showcasing more of our extraordinary collection than ever before.About The RoleWe are seeking to appoint a Learning and Engagement Officer (Communities and Families) who will actively contribute to the Museum’s development. The main purpose of the role is to ensure our programmes are accessible, welcoming, dynamic and enjoyable. A significant focus will be engaging those who may experience barriers to connecting and engaging with museums in the region. This programme helps support equitable access and is a key driver in relation to social impact and contributes significantly to the museum’s civic responsibility.About YouYou will have demonstrable experience of working with community organisations in a museum, gallery, cultural institution or visitor attraction and have a keen interest in Fashion.
