Learner Services Manager - LSM

OverviewLearner Services Manager (LSM) at Access Sport College. Full-time | Permanent | £29,014 – £37,000 per annum. We are flexible on working location due to national college network; some travel is expected.

Responsibilities

Lead safeguarding, SEND and pastoral support

Manage high-needs funding and EHCP reviews

Plan and timetable learning support

Deliver in-class support and coordinate ALS provision

Act as Exams Officer (with a Deputy for support)

You’ll work closely with local authorities, multi-agency teams, and internal colleagues to ensure effective support for all learners. You’ll also support inductions, oversee training on support processes, and ensure learning progress is well-documented.

What You’ll Need

Strong FE sector experience, especially with safeguarding and at-risk learners

Proven ability to lead teams and support services

Knowledge of EHCPs, EAA evidence, and high-needs funding

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A degree or equivalent, plus English and Maths at Level 2 or above
