Gas Services Manager

This is a key role in our Compliance management team as you\''ll be responsible and accountable for all legislative gas compliance works carried out in our customers\'' homes. You\''ll be expected to work at least one day a week from our head office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We\''ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Responsibilities

As principal duty holder, you\''ll be responsible for the maintenance of the overall standard and quality of all gas installation works

You\''ll manage a team of 5 and lead a wider service with over 60 colleagues, who are responsible for gas repairs and servicing in our customers\'' homes

Responsible for the planning, scheduling and efficient delivery of our mechanical works and gas servicing programming, in line with gas safety regulations

Management of contractors through our established frameworks and contracts

Continuously driving service improvements to enhance the customer experience

Comprehensive knowledge of gas safety regulatory requirements and compliance work management processes

You\''ll also have experience of managing the operational delivery of a gas services function

People management experience and someone who is confident leading a compliance-driven service. It would be a bonus if you have a HNC or degree in a property-related specialism

Fantastic people and communication skills. You\''ll collaborate with other internal teams, contractors and interact with customers

Experience in managing health and safety responsibilities at a senior level, such as managing and mitigating risk, producing risk assessments and embedding safe working practices
