The Role

As a Learner Engagement Manager, you will take ownership of regional learner recruitment strategy, ensuring consistent pipeline generation across AEB and employability programmes.

You’ll combine hands-on outreach with strategic oversight, managing performance, partnerships, and engagement activity across the region.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement regional learner recruitment strategies
• Oversee learner engagement pipelines and performance metrics
• Build and maintain partnerships with job centres, community organisations, and referral networks
• Lead outreach initiatives to attract unemployed and underserved individuals
• Support enrolment processes, ensuring eligibility and compliance
• Monitor engagement activity and ensure accurate reporting
• Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to engagement staff

Ideal Candidate

You are a results-driven engagement professional with leadership experience in learner recruitment or employability outreach.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in learner engagement, recruitment, or employability programmes
• Strong understanding of Adult Education Budget (AEB) provision
• Experience managing outreach strategies and learner pipelines
• Ability to build high-value partnerships within communities
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
• Strong organisational and performance management capability
