Lead Electrical Engineer Burton-on-Trent £65,000 - £72,000 DOE Are you an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electrical design and team leadership? We are supporting an established engineering and manufacturing organisation in Burton-on-Trent that is looking to appoint a Lead Electrical Engineer to take technical ownership of its electrical engineering function. This is a senior position combining hands-on electrical engineering, technical leadership and people management, with responsibility for ensuring electrical designs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. The Role As Lead Electrical Engineer, you will: - Lead and coordinate electrical design activities across a range of industrial engineering projects. - Lead, mentor and develop a team of Electrical Engineers. - Allocate workload, plan engineering resources and prioritise activities against project deadlines. - Define electrical architectures, schematics and system-level design strategies. - Review and approve electrical designs, calculations and technical documentation. - Oversee the creation of wiring diagrams, control panel designs, cable schedules and power distribution layouts. - Lead the selection and specification of electrical components including protection devices, contactors, relays, sensors and power electronics. - Carry out and validate electrical calculations including load, fault current, cable sizing and ..... full job details .....
