We have several permanent and contract vacancies available across the UK and overseas. We are recruiting for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established marine manufacturing business. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will lead the production and delivery of detailed electrical design packages for a range of luxury vessels. This role requires strong knowledge of marine AC and DC electrical systems, along with the ability to produce accurate electrical schematics, panel drawings and cable-running schedules. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain electrical design standards across the vessel range. Produce, check, update and issue 2D electrical schematics and panel drawings using AutoCAD. Develop project-specific electrical design information for Production. Produce accurate cable-running schedules, considering manufacturing and installation requirements. Establish clear scopes of supply using project Master Work Lists. Lead the Electrical Design Change Request process. Ensure electrical design information is accurate and delivered within agreed deadlines. Provide technical guidance to Electrical Designers and Electrical Production Managers.
