Lead Driver

Are you an experienced multi-drop driver with a CPC licence, ready to step into a lead role? This is a permanent opportunity for a Lead Driver, combining hands-on deliveries with team support and operational responsibility. The Role: You ll take ownership on the road, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while supporting the wider driver team. This is a key position where you ll lead by example and step into senior responsibilities as required. Key Duties: Completing multi-drop deliveries to a high standard Acting as a lead figure for drivers on shift Providing excellent customer service Manual handling (items averaging around 15kg) Ensuring all paperwork and compliance checks are completed accurately Supporting driver performance and addressing on-the-road issues Liaising with management to maintain smooth daily operations What We re Looking For: Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points) 7.5T or Class 2 licence Valid CPC qualification Strong multi-drop delivery experience Confident supporting and guiding other drivers Excellent timekeeping and communication skills Ability to make decisions and resolve issues quickly Good understanding of health and safety in delivery environments Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling ..... full job details .....
